Kakabeka Farmers’ Market
Now an Outdoor Market!
Kakabeka Farmers’ Market is an outdoor seasonal Saturday morning Market in the parking lot of the Kakabeka Legion.
Looking into 2021 – we will see what conditions will allow! We hope to have an outdoor farmers’ market on Saturday mornings in July-August-September. This depends on COVID regulations. We may be able to begin the Market once we reach Step 2. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is helping with information so that we can have a safe Market. Watch this space for updates!
At Kakabeka Farmers’ Market you’ll find fresh locally grown produce, fabulous nutritious jams with locally grown and wild ingredients, breads, pies and treats, perennials and other plants, woodwork by local artisans, knitting and sewing, cosmetics and many other local products! Notice how often we say local? It’s amazing how much bounty we have in this community, right on our doorstep!
Kakabeka Farmers’ Market is a true Farmers’ Market, with over 50% farm food vendors. This makes it unique in Northern Ontario, and a great shopping experience!
